28 Life Lessons From My 28 Years of Life

Today I turn the big 2-8! And yes I am aware that this isn’t a
monumental birthday and it doesn’t have any big significance like 30
will be, but I realized that I have lived and accomplished a lot in the
short 28 years I have been on this earth. So with that being said I
thought I would share with all of you: 28 Life Lessons I have learned.
Not everyone is going to like you, there is nothing wrong with that. You
don’t need to have everyone like so NEVER change who you are for
someone.
1ts Pamela1 Learn to LOVE your body! No matter what size you are. Your body is
beautiful and does amazing things. Try to have it be the best body you
can have and treat it well. Take care of your body because you love it
not because you hate it and want to change it. There is a difference.

That being said, Life is too short to never have a cheat day! Break down
and have that bacon cheeseburger every once in a while.

Sometimes its OK to not go out and have a night to yourself. Sometimes
you need that mental break and alone time to recharge.

Always have a bottle of champagne in your house, you never know when a
celebration might pop up!

Spending quality time with loved ones should always be a priority.
Create memories and always remember that 9 times out of 10 the best
moments in life are not from what you do but who you are doing it with.

Knowing who your true friends are, if they aren’t true ride or dies you
need to cut ties.It will be hard at first but in the end it will be the
best thing you can do.

It is better to be single then to be with someone who doesn’t value you
for how awesome you truly are! Know your worth and don’t settle for
anything less.

Know when to splurge on an item and know when to save. Keep splurges
timeless:)

Know the difference between being trendy and having style. You never
want to be known as TRENDY. Style is classic

Find your passion and then spend your free time trying to find a way to
make that your income.

Always give back to your community. Its amazing what a kind heart to
someone in need can do for their will to get thru their tough time.

Master 3 things: a smoky eye , making a perfect cocktail and sending
flirty texts to your man

Prayer and believing in a higher power helps find calm when your life
seems out of control.

You don’t have to be the best cook but you don’t want to serve a baked
potato and dt coke when it’s your turn to cook dinner. Master some
signature dishes that are always a hit.

Once a month read a book that helps you grow as a person and one that
entertains you

Never buy an insincere gift. Always take the time to find and give
something that you know the person will love .

Never underestimate the power of a hand written note or thank you card.

Always be punctual. This is a quality that is rare and impressive to
people.

Always make time to catch up with your friends, no matter how busy you
are.

A women always needs 3 kinds of lingerie in their wardrobe: some that is
good for everyday ,some that makes your clothes look better (spanx) and
some that doesn’t stay on for too long 😉

Sometimes good things in life fall apart and feel like everything is
shattered but with time you will realize you went thru that so better
things can fall together.

Nothing will make you more ready to conquer the world than the perfect
shade of red lipstick

Always tell the ones you love that you love them. Even if you are mad,
have the last thing you say before ending the convo that you love them.
You never know if that will be your last chance to say it .

Start a good skin care regimen NOW! Wear sunscreen and prevent those
wrinkles early on.

As much as you try to plan out your life, you will always have a plot
twist thrown at ya:) Look at it as a challenge to overcome instead of a
setback

Having a well shaped brow can completely transform your face.

Life is too short to be anything but happy! Have fun! Seize the moment,
love unconditionally and laugh often.
