Overview

FashionBar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Development Intern to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of FashionBar’s digital platforms. This role works closely with internal teams to help execute website updates, improve user experience, and support digital initiatives across FashionBar’s fashion, retail, and consulting operations.

Interns will gain hands-on experience working on real-world websites and digital tools within a fast-paced, creative fashion environment.

This is an accredited internship offering practical experience in web development and digital operations.

Responsibilities

As a Web Development Intern, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with website updates, page builds, and content changes

• Supporting the maintenance and organization of website pages and digital assets

• Assisting with basic front-end development tasks (layout adjustments, styling updates, content formatting)

• Supporting website performance, usability, and functionality improvements

• Collaborating with marketing, design, and operations teams to implement digital needs

• Assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance across devices and browsers

• Supporting integrations with forms, plugins, and third-party tools as needed

• Performing additional digital support tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong interest in web development, digital platforms, or website management

• Familiarity with website builders, CMS platforms, or basic HTML/CSS is a plus

• Comfortable working with content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Interest in fashion, design, or creative industries is a plus

Duration & Schedule

• Duration: One semester or academic quarter

• Approximately 20 hours per week

• Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic and work commitments
